Jonathan Marks adds soaring melodies to “Fateline” one afternoon in early October 2009 - Simon recorded (and grooved to) the tune at Arlene Bishop’s place (generous soul that she is).

A view from the fine leather couch at Joao Carvalho's Mastering Studio on January 26, 2009, as Stephen Stepanic and Aaron Key work on Jen Schaffer's "Angel Ridge" EP.

Jen Schaffer and the Shiners playing “Succumb” at the front room of The Cameron House on May 7, 2009 - Jen Schaffer on guit and lead vox, Simon Law on honky tonk piano, Jonathan Marks on violin, Astrid Foster on bass, John Teshima on guit and Blair Packham making his drum debut!

Check out this video on the Songwriters Expo held monthly at the Cadillac Lounge in Toronto.  It was done by a couple of Humber College students for The Daily Planet.  They recorded the Expo from November 22, 2009, when I performed (with Simon) as one of the featured artists.  You can catch a few seconds of us playing “Fateline.”

Jen and the band gave a new song,  “We Had Our Time,” a first outing at C’est What on October 28, 2010. Evan Trestan filmed the night - took some gorgeous videos - more songs are posted on my Youtube Channel.
